Athens Regional Spay/Neuter Center
Started in November of 2007, the Athens Regional Spay/Neuter Center is a program designed to combat pet overpopulation at the heart of the matter. We have performed over 14,500 life-saving surgeries.
Our purpose is to provide low cost, high quality spays and neuters to the population of
Our veterinarian recommends that all animals be current on their vaccines 2 weeks prior to surgery. Vaccines take approximately 2 weeks to be absorbed into the body and begin to protect against diseases. We can administer vaccines on the day of surgery but they are not guaranteed to protect them while they are here with other animals.
Vaccinations and other services are only available at the time of surgery. Please contact your veterinarian for ongoing wellness services or visit one of our monthly Pet Care Clinics.
Group discounts are only available for licensed shelters or rescue groups. Please contact us for more information.
