About two years ago my girlfriend at the time adoped a "special needs" cat by the name of Abby (now named Zuli). She suffered some kind of reaction when she was spayed and after that she was slow mentally and physically. Later she gifted the kitty to me, which is what I really wanted anyway. I fell in love with Abby. Since then I have married (a different girl) who is a veterinary student. When I married her I "inherited" two dogs and four cats. Abby had some adjusting to do, but she managed slowly. She is a happy cat now is never bored and even goes outside once in a while. She climbs up and down the cat tree and is learning to play with other cats. She's got a fun, happy life now and turns into more of a "normal" cat everyday.
