First of all, Happy New Year!!! As we begin a new year of helping animals in our community, we are also preparing to create our 2012 Report to the Community which has information about the Athens Area Humane Society, as well as some important highlights of 2012 and goals for 2013.

One of the most important aspects of this report are the individual stories about the people and pets that our programs have helped--it lets our staff know that their daily hard work means so much to each pet and pet owner that they're helping as a collective, it lets our donors and supporters know how our services and programs impact our community, and it encourages us to reach for even higher accomplishments in the next year.

Today I am asking you to take just a few minutes to share your story with us for our Report to the Community as well as our Happy Tales Blog and our Mews and News Newsletter. Your feedback and stories truly mean so much to us, and I thank you for helping with this project.
