The Athens Area Humane Society is thrilled to be able to bring an low cost option for pet owners to get their pets spayed and neutered.  The Athens Regional Spay and Neuter Center is a new program which will help to significantly reduce pet overpopulation and subsequent euthanasia rates. Our purpose is to provide low cost, high quality spays and neuters to the population of Athens-Clarke County and surrounding areas. Our objective is to offer a non-lethal solution to pet overpopulation so that we can create a community in which euthanasia is not an acceptable way to control the animal population.
